DemandVista helps businesses collect leads, which means handling personal data is part of the job. This page explains the two roles we play: running our own small website, and working inside the tools our clients use to manage their customers.
The business behind DemandVista
DemandVista is run by Techno Hiker Pvt Ltd, incorporated in India. For our own website and client relationships, that company decides how personal data is used. Privacy questions go to hello@demandvista.site, or use the funnel audit form.
Data from our own website
- The audit form collects a name, email address, business type, website, traffic sources and your message.
- Client relationships generate contracts, invoices, emails and call notes.
- The website sets one session cookie to protect the form from forged submissions. There is no analytics or advertising tracking on this site.
Data inside client tools
When a client gives us access to its email platform, analytics or store, we act on the client's instructions as a service provider. The client remains responsible for its customers' data and for the consent behind it. We access only what the agreed work needs, never export lists for our own use, and never combine one client's audience with another's.
No selling, no sharing for ads
Personal data, whether from our site or a client's tools, is not for sale, and none of it goes to advertisers for following people from site to site.
Who else processes data
Our website host and email provider, the tools a client authorizes us to use, and public authorities where we are legally obliged to respond. Client names stay confidential unless a client agrees otherwise in writing.
Transfers abroad
The studio operates from India and uses some overseas providers, so your information can end up being handled in a different country from yours.
How long data is kept
- Audit requests that go no further: removed within twelve months.
- Our access to client tools: revoked when the engagement closes.
- Contracts and invoices: stored for the period accounting rules demand.
Rights you may have
Depending on your location, you may be entitled to see the data held about you, correct it, have it erased, or restrict how it is used. People in the EU, the UK, California and several other US states hold rights along these lines. Customers of our clients should write to that business first, and we will help it answer. We verify identity before acting and reply within legal time limits.
